Oil Change Warning

I have a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 4x4 and my oil change light will not reset. I turn the key on and press the accelerator pedal to the floor 3 times and it doesn't reset. Any ideas?

Have you been able to reset it in the past?

 

Sometimes is takes me 2-3 times to get it to turn off.

But then, I can't chew gum and walk either.

Try pressing the accelerator 3 times then tapping the brake. Is your oil pressure gauge registering correct?
