Remote Starter

i bought a 2005 jimmy in may. it has a remote stater in it but isn't connected due to they had to put an immobolizer in it, would it be a complicated fix to hook up? would this give me a hassle with the computer if i had it hooked up? does anyone no what cost i'm looking at, i also need the remote part (phobe). any answers would be great as i was told its an easy fix but they have to bypass the immobilzer? :lol:

Are you from Manitoba, Canada? I am....had this exact issue. I haver a remote starter, forced to put an immobililzer into it (factory in 2006 was not goodenough), they didn't hook it up right...caused problems with the computer..now MPI is diagnosing...pulled the immobilizer...works fine now.

 

I paid extra to have the systems work together..I don't think they used a proper relay systems to inteface the two when they did it. PM me if you want..I have a fulll story on this!!
