Yukon gears man....or randy's ring and pinion.

Gear size wont stop you from using your locker...all replacement gears fit on the same bolt holes. As long as you get gears to fit your current rear diff you will be able to use the same locker.

Apparently it doesn't matter.

 

But from everything I have read you should have an 8.6" 30 spline

But the 8.5" 30 spline will fit and be just as strong.

and I'm wondering why i only have option of a standard rear ring and pinion but can choose a high performance front

They're for older 8.5" rearends. The non ABS ones. I believe the pinion shaft is shorter on the older rearends.

 

 

Your best bet is to give Randy's a call...they will tell you exactly what you need for your truck.
