2003 Tahoe Lt - Power Door Locks Will Not Unlock Rear Doors

Hello

I am new to this forum, thanks in advance for any help you can offer.....

I have a 2003 Tahoe LT. I purchased it last week. When I picked it up the power door locks would open the rear and tailgate doors both the the key remote and door panel locks. Now both buttons will only unlock the front doors.

I am sure it's an option as there are tons of them. I tried working through the options on the steering wheel but can't figure it out.

Anyone ever see this? Help!

Thanks...

Do they not unlock only or do they both not unlock and not lock?

They lock, but not unlock.

Go to the driver side fuse pannel. There is an unlock relay and a lock relay. Swap them around and see if the problem swaps with them. The front doors are controlled by the modules. The rear is supplied power by the LOCKS fuse. The fuse supplies power to the lock and unlock relays. If neither works then check the fuse but if one or the other doesn't work swap the relays.

Thank you for the advice. I see what you are talking about, 2 black square relays in the fuse panel.

Do they pull out? I do not see a clip holding them in, but they did not pull out easily and I am afraid to force it.

They can take a little force to get out, nothing holds them in. You won't break anything just rock them back and forth a little or put a small screwdriver under them if you can get one in there.
