Wheel Hub

So one of my front wheel hubs is out, lots of squeeking and pulling hard right when i brake...i figure i should replace both fronts at the same time..what has everyone found to be the best low cost wheel hub to throw in, i will have to do brake pads and rotors at the same time. so this is going to be overly expensive as is!

This all happened after i put a fabtech 3'' spindle lift and 33'' MTRs on, i dont know if its for that reason, but a friend of mine has the same truck/lift, and has had to replace the bearings every few thousand miles since he installed the same spindle lift...could this be the issue? or just my 70,000mi? i dont want to spend the money if i will wear them out quickly again.

Thanks

These bearings aren't known for their longevity. People have replaced theirs much sooner then 70k miles, some have gone 150k without a replacement. Just replace the broken one for now. With the unpredictability of these bearings, it may last quite a bit longer.

I agree, with the unpredictability of these things. I replaced my right front at 57k with a timken. Wasn't a tough job at all. Still running the original on the drivers side at about 67k now.

does my lift have anything to do with this? should i get used to replacing these things?

It's not helping anything. But who's to say it's hurting anything either. The previous owner of my truck said it was lifted about a month after he bought it brand new. I just replaced the driver's side a few months back and the passenger side is still the original with 65k on it.
