Weathertech Floor Liners

Well I just got some new floor liners for my truck for x-mas. Driver's side fits just fine whereas the passenger side does not seem to fit as well. Not sure if this has anything to do with just coming out of the box, being cold outside, but the left side of the liner (where it sweeps upward) does not touch the floor of the truck. It is about a 1/2" gap all along that edge. Curious if anyone else had this problem, if it is a problem. Perhaps it will settle in and be fine. I would assume that there is no difference in the shape of the floor pan between reg, ext, and crew cab models (I have a reg cab). The box has the correct part number on it, too.

I'm hoping that's all it takes. A little heat and time. Being freezing temps outside doesn't really help. Anyways, I shot a couple shots with my phone. Not great quality but should help illustrate:

Give'em time to relax and they will fit like a glove. Might need to get them good and warm though.

+1

Mine did the same thing.

I bought a set for myself a few months back and loved them so much that I bought my mom a pair for christmas. Problem is, the drivers side one is way off. Short on the length and width by like 5 inches. Anyone had an issue like that and had to send them back? Im hoping they take care of it and pay for the shipping seeing as how its they're fault. The numbers on the back of the mat are off from the number online by a digit. GRRRRRR!! I hate when stuff like this happens.

Same here. But I had some Uncle Buck's range sandbags that I put on each side of the mat. After a few nights of that, it was fitting like a glove.

Of course, it was also the end of summer here in Louisiana so it was a bit warm when I did that. I'm sure that helped.
