Does anyone have DIY instructions for replacing a heated seat element on a '02 Yukon Denali? My drivers seat element is bad and I'm not familiar with seat upholstery removal. Without knowing how the clips attach, it's tough to dive in.

I've not done it myself, but you can buy the seat clips and the heating element. I've got a link on my work computer I'll try and post it tomorrow for you. You can buy the heating element kit for about $150 a seat.

Your price sounds about right based on what the dealer quoted for the element. I would fix it for that but the labor cost was pretty high if I take it to an auto upholstery shop. I just need to see how the clips attach and what needs to come apart in order to swap out the element.
