Go with the supercharger. It's a much simpler system to install, run and maintain. If you're going to go with a turbo, I'd recommend a "traditional engine mount". I can't say that I have any experience with the rear mount turbos, but I work with a guy that bought into a company in Washington state that builds and sells them. He and I were looking into puting a rear turbo system on a Z06 Vette that we play with on occasion ...However, lets just say the stock is not doing to well.

I helped put a Whipple on a...97...I think it was. That was a badass truck.

I don't think you can buy the kits though. It would have to be a custom jobber.

I've got a Maggie on my GTO, and I love Love LOVE it.

What are your goals? Track monster? Street beast? How much are you wanting to push it?

not going too crazy...if the blackbear tune makes a huge improvement i may only do a full intake and exhaust...i just need it to be a lil more aggressive and be able to haul a car around if needed

Have a buddy with an STS on his truck...its awesome. Only issue he has is keeping a trans for longer than 1000 miles.

He's putting 870 ft-lbs to the pavement though...and its a Avalanche...not exactly light...I believe its 5600lbs

If you're towing...You might want to stick with the roots blower.

And performancetrucks is a great site.

Yeah...true that...towing and a turbo isn't good...you will get into an overboost situation quite frequently.

And Performance trucks certainly is a great site.
