Noise

I know I have read many post on annoying noises coming from their trucks. Well I have a whistling noise

coming from the outside and I just cant pinpoint the location. It sounds like somebody is blowing a whistle, happens

@ about 40mph and up. Tried the search function, but no luck. If there is a previous post on this occurence I'd

appreciate somebody point me to the topic, or anybodys input is welcome.

The noise just started to appear @ 25000 miles. Quiet as a mouse, previously.

Have you check your exhaust for a leak? May just be a pin hole or a loose clamp.

 

A friend of mine had a truck that had a whistle noise that came from the plastic components between the hood and the windshield (right below the wipers) Some how wind was getting under there and causing it to whistle. May wanna check there too.

I'd check the mirrors, the end caps on your step bars and the hood deflector...if you have one.
