Water Spots Inside Light Assembly

I had a leak in my taillight assembly that allowed little condensation inside. I removed the assembly, found the leak and resealed it. Now I notice a few small water spots on both the lens and the reflector. Is there a simple method for getting rid of those spots?

You can try spraying glass cleaner on a soft cloth and then fish the cloth inside through the bulb openings and wipe it around.

Thanks for the suggestion. The spots do wipe off easily when I can get to them. There are areas that can't be reached, no matter what you do.

 

I think I will experiment with some other plastic using a diluted dish detergent mixture, and maybe some other diluted liquids, and just slosh them around and drain. If it works then I will try it on the lens.

You might try some dishwasher rinse stuff.

Also when you go to rinse the soapy liquid out use distilled water it will prevent additional spots
