Woohoo! Bl Ordered

So I was lucky enough to get the RC level fit while it was on sale and have since milled it down to a lift of 1.5", and this morning I placed the order for the Zone Offroad 3" body lift. Next on the list are the step bars to hide the frame and of course the new wheels and tires. Unfortunately I don't plan on installing anything until the wheels & tires are here since I don't want to drive around with the lift on stock wheels/tires for a few months. Just wanted to share my happy news.

If I go with the XD Monster wheels in black, do you think they will be ok to use in the winter months? Or should I go back to the stock wheels over winter?

Where do you live? I have KMC XD rockstars. Any of the chrome/shiney shit will get destroyed by the salt. Last year I took the wheels off for the winter, this year i left them on. here in pittsburgh we just had about 3 straight weeks of daily snow, so no chance to keep the wheels clean.. I just cleaned them yesterday, n i know im gonna have to give them a touch up come spring time. The chrome coated plastic is getting ate up.

With that said ill always leave them on now for winter, the snow is so much fun with some big wide meats on.

I don't know what to tell you about winter months since winter down here isn't really a winter. But I love my black XD Monsters. Great choice on level, body lift, and wheels. Can't wait to see it

Now I just ordered the Go Rhino Dominator III steps. That extra rear step is going to make it nicer reaching into the upper bed of the truck, especially with it being 3 inches higher. Wheels and tires next...

Good choice on the Go Rhino steps. I think if I would be any shorter I would have gone with the III's but the II's are perfect for me. Goodluck with the wheels and tires

It's a pain to wash the back window and top of the truck standing on those steps. The truck will look sweet when it's done. Be sure and post up pics of the progress.

The Go Rhino Dominator III steps got here last week. Here is a quick pic

I have yet to see an installed picture of these yet. By that I mean with this new aluminum machined "kick plate" installed above the step. Not sure that I like those extra pieces yet or not. I need to take a closer look, but my guess is that they are removable.

I didn't even notice the new plate in the pictures until I read what you put underneath. Idk if that would help much as I don't think I would even get my foot on that part while climbing in or out. I think I like them better without the extra plate.

I agree. I have never stepped on or against that main bar and I vote for removing them. You could also have the "kick plates" rhino lined...that may look good and add some traction/protection as well.

I kind of made up the "kick plate" idea. I thought that it may be a useful place to knock snow off of your shoes before getting in. Once installed I'll look at them with & without and go from there.

The wait is killing me now. I won't be ordering the wheels for another 4 weeks... everything else is here.
