My First How To

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you guys know about the "how To" I posted for the cargo lights on NNBS GMT 900s. Thanks to the info I found here posted by brims, I was able to get this mod done today and thought I would share it with all of you. I missed that feature in my 04 GMT 800 and was really happy to get it done in my 07, hope it helps some of you. Here is the link, NNBS cargo light mod.

Thanks guys, if you decide to get this mod done let me know how it went, and the time it took you also. I would like to see what it really takes since it was stop and go for me cause of the pics and so forth.

Great write-up! Def. something I will do when I get the chance. I did find another method and posted the link. I like the switch mounting location up on the overhead console (if you happen to have that option).

Took me too long (lol), hardest part was fishing the wires.

The juction box was easy, once I removed the black cover (5X6 inches)

My wire was white with black stripe,I tested to be sure.

So let me get this right and excuse me for my ignorance but, GM Decided the only way for you to use your cargo lights was if the domes are on as well? That's a pretty dim move...

My 99 has a separate switch that turns the Cargo light on and off and the Domes are on their own circuit as well.

Just curious is all, again excuse my ignorance if it doesn't work that way on the NNBS trucks...
