Does anybody know the part number for a 4.8 LY2 engine cover that has the silver vortec logo? Mine has the logo but it isn't painted, I would like to swap it out with a painted one.

Theres only one engine cover for the GMT900 trucks,none of the covers have the "VORTEC" wording painted.

Paint it!

5 bucks for paint....100 for an engine cover with paint on it....hmmmm tough decision.

I have a picture of the 4.8 LY2 from media.gm.com and the engine cover has a silver vortec logo.

And I would rather buy one then try and paint it myself, that's just me.
