Door Lock Actuator?

My rear driver side door won't lock or unlock by the button on the drivers door or the keyless entry. Im pretty sure its the actuator I have heard they go bad alot anyone done one of these?? Wondering how hard they are to do. Thanks in advance

I havent done one but I would imagine if you have some mechanical knowledge you should be able to do it. Simple as removing the door panel and removing old actuator and installing new one. Are you still under warranty?

No warranty is up I have friends who were GMC mechanics and Im sure we can figure it out. Just wasnt sure how it is attached to the door and where? Im sure it just plugs in but im not sure if it is rivoted to the door or what? Thanks for your help
