having some trouble finding a good tutorial on how to do this. found a newer version, but it was not the same engine.

i need to replace my serpentine belt tensioner and most likely the belt also.

i have a 1997 gmc sonoma 4.3l v6

can anyone point me in the right direction?

im sorry if this is a repost, but i tried searching and couldn't track down anything that really related.

thank you

pay a guy to do it for you .

.5 hr max door rate at a shop

if you don't have an answer, please don't respond.

everyone is aware that someone could be paid to do the job.

my truck is not running in my driveway and i'm trying to fix it myself.

anyone got any info better than this?

sorry ,

to change it ,remove the belt, replace the tensioner (ensure alignment tab is in its hole) and reinstall the belt making sure it is on every pulley properly

there is a pic of belt routing under the hood somewhere.

hows that?
