Got a problem and have looked and found no other threads.

The Fresh air door for my truck is a problem. It seems that as the temperature of the HVAC control panel heats up, the fresh air door does not stay in one setting or the other. It moves from being closed for fresh air to being closed for recerc. This happens even when placed in recerculation mode.

It is getting very annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can hear the door opening and closing, changing position. it does stay in one setting when the truck is off and I have checked it by removing the glove box and verifying the position.

When setting the blower to high, it does seem reduce the changes in position.

I have the ability to read the enhanced codes for the truck and unable to read any from the body control module (if there is one) and at my last rope.

Does any one have or know what the resistance should be for the motor or what the current draw is. I want to check the door motor to make sure it is not drawing too much current and shorting out. The resistance should give me a clue and current draw would confirm it. I do not want to just change the control panel because a new one costs about $100 US and I am not a parts swappper when I can avoid it and have to pay for the parts.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
