I think rough country suspension lift is giving guys alot of problems. I'd look into BDS or Rancho. Do a search and you'll see. :noway:

Here's a good example to read.

Ya, that's the 3" kit though. The 5" kit looks to be quite a bit more substantial than the 3" kit, it comes with knuckles and what look like beefy diff brackets. I am just curious if this is a decent kit or not. It looks like it's brand new so we probably won't know long term effects for a while?

Well for me it would come down to how well they (RC) handled the customers above. If they got good service, then maybe I'd give the lift a chance, but if they just took their money and ran, I'm might look else where. I know when I had my 03, I installed Skyjacker and had awesome customer service thru them. The shocks got rusted twice after a year, and Skyjacker took them back, and sent me new ones twice in two years without question. Even on the second set, they cleared them prior to installation to help. To me, service after the sale is everything. :noway:

While I agree that customer serivice is critical and that the 5" kit is substantially better than the 3" kit, I wouldn't purchase anything from RC ever again (just my experience and opinion). To me, why risk buying a subpar suspension even if they are willing to replace items. I certainly wouldn't want to remove components a couple times a year and wait for the company to send new ones. The old saying, "You get what you pay for" rings true. There is a good reason that RC is one of the cheapest manufacturers out there.
