Power Steering Problems

I just had my power steering pump replaced and am still having the same problem. It cuts out turning to the right and makes a noise. Is it the steering box or the rack? its an 04 silverado 4x4 1500 ex cab with a 5.3

rack and pinion would be my guess, had similiar issue with my 04

i replaced the pump today the sqeeling went away and its not leeking. you turn the wheel on dry pavement to the let fine but i turn to the left and it feels like a manual steering and the pump wines

sorrie turn to the left is ok but it gives me problems turning to the right

rack and pinion would be my guess, had similiar issue with my 04

 

 

do steering boxs go bad? its got 75,000 miles on it all i do is drive it to work and hall an atv no off roading yet .

everything can go bad man, dry steering is harsh on the steering...take it to a dealer
