Adding Or Retrofit Power Seat Memory To Factory Power Seats

does anyone out there know of a kit of some sort to add/Retrofit power seat memory to a factory electric seat? i have a 09 gmc sle sierra w/ electric seats but it didnt come with factory seat memory. i am not worried about anything else other than just the seat memory. mirrors and such are easy to adjust. i dont like to try get comfortable all over again when someone changes the seat settings.

I think that you would have to install the memory modules that go in the door...I think that is one of things that were "added" by GM in the doors for the GMT900s....someone correct me if I am wrong.

i am open to any ideas. i wouldnt mind installing the module if i can find a kit or something. i dont want to rewire anything... i am ALL about PnP installs.

Well, then you might not be getting what you want.

 

I believe you need to add the switch unit in the door, and the memory/control module under the seat. I'm not sure if the harnesses are already in place or not, but I kinda doubt it.

yeah i kinda figure it will be a pain.. i dont mind putting the controls on the door if it will just plug into the factory seat harness.
