May be hard to find depending on where you are. I bought my 09 in mid Dec and with that red tag sale event that was going on that seemed to be clearing out the leftovers pretty good. Good luck tho looking. Im very happy with my Silverado.

Any dealer is able to search the country for vehicles matching your needs. He may even find some. Getting a deal on them is another story. Depending on what options they have, the dealers are holding on to them. For example, GM is no longer offering the Duramax in an extended cab for 2010. The 2009s that are still out there are commanding a pretty high price. I worked for 8 months and the best I could do was $2500 off sticker plus standard GM incentives even though I have a supplier discount and most of the trucks have been sitting on lots for many months. I spoke to more than 20 dealers all over the western US and got the same answer. No deals on the truck I was looking for. Retail or close to it.

You can go online yourself and search a 125 mile radius. Be sure to check around those towns big enough to have a dealership but too small to get a lot of traffic. I got mine finally in Grants Pass, Or.

Ya i bought mine during the red tag sale. Its a 09 Ext. Silverado 5.3 4x4 with the allstar apperance pkg. sticker was 34,800. after tax/delivery/registration and all i financed 25 something.

but i did put 2k down and made 1200 off my trade. I got a pretty big rebate from the red tag and saved another 3500 (i think) from the employee discount through a family member.

There aren't too many new left over 08's out there. Just about all of them were sold a year ago because the discounts were so big. There could be some oddball new '08 trucks still left, like cab and chassis models with the bed delete option, for example. There should be plenty of new 09 trucks still left.
