Dvd Player Over Ride

Anyone ever attempt to install an over ride so that the front DVD (nav screen) will play when in drive?

 

I've heard of it being possible but cannot find any forums on here saying how it is done..anyone know how, or what is needed?

Yes. It is called a Lockpick. You can search for it, there are tons of threads about it. It will also allow you to enter navigation destinations while driving and search through the XM categories.

Thanks...I found all the threads now that I know what its called!

 

I have the GM extended warranty...anyone know if this lock pick could void part of my warranty? I know they don't like aftermarket add ons, I'll have to check into this first before buying the lock pick.
