Finally Getting It Fixed - Jasper Transmission

Hey All,

 

I posted a while back with a blown transmission issue. Thanks to someone's wonderful advice, we have decided to order a Jasper tranny to replace our blown one. And thanks to Uncle Sam, we finally have the money to do it. The truck is going in this week to get looked at, but we're already pretty sure we're going to need to replace the tranny. Dang 4l60e and the stupid, weak-sauce sunshell. It has 150k miles on it and I hear that's pretty standard timing for the tranny to go out. We can hardly wait to get the ole' beast back on the road; just in time for mudding and camping season. Woohoo!

 

I will repost when it's done and let you all know what I think of the Jasper tranny, but we are expecting good things with that warranty they offer; 100k miles is an awesome warranty. Plus they do all the upgrades over OEM, so we're excited to have a tighter, smoother tranny. Yay!!
