Leveling Kit

I have a 2010 Sierra SLT crewcab 4x4 and plan on adding a Ready Lift 2.25'" leveling kit. Can anyone tell me if this affects the handling at all. Thanks

wecome. I cant answer for the ready lift kit but I put on a 2 inch rough country (posted a pic under the suspension section) and noticed no ride difference. I did need a alignment after the install. Also I noticed 1 MPG less on the 50 miles highway trip home but I hoping it was something else but it could be the higher front aerodynamics.

I installed a 2.5" leveling kit from CCM on my '09 GMC Sierra ex-cab 4x4 and noticed no difference in the ride or handling. I had to have my front end aligned too.

I added a Cognito Motorsports leveling kit to my 2008 2500HD. No impact noted at all. Just do not put a heavy camper on the truck (6.5 foot bed) because it will lift the IFS full extension upward

when the camper rocks backward. I had ordered an Arctic Fox 811 and had to cancel the order after the test drive. My truck had heavier 285 tires (3750lbs each tire), Helwig sway bars front and

back, supersprings and wireless airbags. The bummer is the IFS could not deal with any rearward rocking of the camper. The IFS would lift up all the way and was truly scary. The new 2011 GM HD trucks will get

a 6000LB front axle instead of the current 4800LB and the new torsion bars will be different between the 3/4 and 1 ton.
