Led Nightmare

so ive been tring to instal my new led light for my 96 Chevy Z71! i replaced my turn sig/ runing amber light With led plug and play set now my dash thinks i have a bulb out and is blinking out of control any ideas? i was told that they take 15% less power but my truck dont like it! do i need a difrent flaser or What????

You need a different flasher, or you can install load resistors, to make the leds like regular bulbs. check out superbrightleds.com for flashers, load resistors, and they also have some good info. on your problem

Don't forget that LED's have polarity, too- they will only light when current is flowing in the correct direction- if they don't light, try turning the bulb around-
