Rap Questions On A 2002 Seo Tahoe

Hi- relative truck neebie here, at least on this forum- I have owned a couple GM trucks and several of their cars- Just bought an ex-police Tahoe, Z71 package with some interesting deletes, like, no DRL's or automatic headlight operation- I can provide the SPID's or VIN if needed, but what has me going right now is the RAP function. The interior lights remain on after opening a door for maybe 30 seconds, but the radio and power windows go off immeadiately after turning off the key. Is this normal? I found the RAP relay in the fuse panel on the end of the dash, behind the driver's side door- Is this relay just for the interior lights? Not sure what else the police may have ordered or deleted on this, still trying to get it all sorted out correctly- Thanks for any help

That is how my 02 Sierra works, only dome light for 30 seconds and nothing else with key turned off. I have also seen the RAP relay, but assumed it was normal. Now if it isn't normal, then I would like to correct it.

I guess I am spoiled by my '01 Camaro- the radio plays and the windows work for maybe 5 minutes after shutting off the ignition- I thought that was how RAP was supposed to work- Still trying to figure out what is what on this truck-

You can go to the dealer and have the BCM flashed for a regular Tahoe and everthing will work.

What's that worth, maybe an hour of shop time? Tempting-

The police package has many changes to it and BCM programming is one of them. The PCM is also different along with the suspension.
