I have a 96 silverado k1500 and the blower stopped working. It worked one day on the highest setting but from then it would never come on again. any advice?

resistor

 

 

Thanks for the advice,I went to a local shop and they gave me a relay insted of the resistor. I put it in and it still did not work. Is a relay the same as the resistor and where is the resistor located?

resistor is not the relay as you found out,it is in the heater box near the fan,buy an alldata account for $27 bucks for a year
