Power Steering Questions

i've noticed since my new all terrain tires my power steering is a bit stiffer when turning...not like its empty or theres no power steering at all, i'm just curious would the tires cause the extra effort? i drove a freinds 4.3 with good ol road tires on them and it turned way easy...nothen wrong with the system, the fluid is the factory i'm getting around to it sooner or later...

Tires sure do make a difference.

its what i figured, its tolerable and its not like driving my trucks the equivelent of pumping iron or anything so i can live with it..thanks for the reply man
