just curious how many of the GMT cult are converts from other brands? i myself have always driven gm products..i almost went to a dodge but when i test drove it, it misfired and stalled(had 30k on it) and the dealer claimed it was because it was cold...

My last truck was a Dodge, but I wouldn't necessarily say I'm converted. I'll always look at the competition when it comes time to purchase a new one. GM just happened to win the last go-round. From my experience, there is a good chance it will win next time too!

My last two vehicles were Grand Cherokees. After the lack of quality of the last one (2005-Factory ordered with every option)and Chrysler's deplorable customer service, I will never again buy anything that they produce. Moving from an SUV to a pickup, all I can say is 'I will never go back'. The GMT900 has been a fanstastic truck and very reliable. Unless things change over the next year, I will most likely buy another next spring.

I just joined the group and came from a Toyota Tacoma. Was looking for a fullsize to replace it with and have a buddy thats a sales manager for a local GM dealership here. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse and here I sit with a brand new Silverado. Just hoping and praying I will enjoy as many trouble free miles as I did out of my Toyota. Time will tell, for now I only have 1200 miles on the odometer but I am loving it, great truck so far! :)

I've owned both a Toyota Tacoma 4x4 and Nissan Hardbody in the past. My uncles and nephews all drive GMC/Chevy's. My sister and her husband are into fords, they own a F150, F250, F350 and 60's Mustang 350....

I do love my GMC Sierra truck and I'm pretty brand loyal, but it's not blind loyalty; the product still has to be reliable, dependable, solid, etc... product regardless of brand....
