Trying To Save The Paint Before Its Too Late

my paint on my door is begining to show signs it wants to chip(nickel sized chips) is there anything i can do to keep them on before its too late? i was thinking maybe some touch up paint+clear coat? the chips have developed from the wind grabbing my opened door and slamming it outwards

Pictures? Chances are if it's already starting to blister there's not much you can do.

it isen't blistering, i don't have pics, its right along the seam where the door meets the front fender panel...its showing lines where the paint wants to form a chip but no blister really

Aside from sanding it down and repainting I haven't heard of anything that will fix it. Chances are a wet sand and buff would just take rip it off.
