I have a general question that I am looking to get answered. I ordered the RC 2inch leveling kit for my 08 z71 4X4. After doing numerous searchs on here I know the tire will not rub (Or from what I gather) on a stock 18's. But my question is will the motometals 951's rub since they are a 18x9 rim. I would get the 6x5.5 (6x139.7) +18mm offset but I am looking for someone with this type of setup to let me know if they have any rubbing issues with just the leveling kit. Thanks for you time.

I have the 2" truxxx kit on my truck and with my 951's in 17" and the STOCK 265's i still rub a little bit at full turn either way. Keep in mind that I have big thick mudflaps for running the gravel/dirt roads. So if you don't have mudflaps or anything you will likely be ok.

Thanks for the reply. I read your thread and looked up your later posts and you have the 951's but with a negative offset.

Still looking for some input. I would like to get the wheels tomorrow if someone on here has them with a RC 2 inch level kit. Looking at the nitto M/T 285/65/18 and the 951's on a +18mm offset. And help is greatly appreicated. I installed gm mud flaps, low profile tool box, tint, and gm running boards today. Almost done ! Pics will come once I clean the truck and take it in for the rear main seal leak (Same crap on my ZO6 and TA)

I have 18x9 on my truck with the 285/65. The rim is a KMC brand, not sure of the back spaceing as I got them from another member and he couldn't remember what it was. But the do rub just a little at full lock when you go up/down a incline. But not all the time. A little work with some zip-ties and a hammer fixxed the problem. Hope this helpd you out.

Well thanks for the reply. Im just going to wait and see. Going to go down to the local tire shop and see if they will mount some up for me and see how bad it is.

Not a problem. Just will need to see some pics after you get them on.
