Silverado 09 Bumper

So i have a black 09 silverado WT. I want to get the bumper and grill black such as the LT trim. So it looks the same and not a difference. I was wondering if its possible to use the bumper and grill i currently have and make it look like that? If I can how do you do this? Or will I have to buy a different grill and bumper pieces? If so were would be the best place? Thanks

Are you talking about colour matching it all to a gloss black like your truck? If you are, then yes. The grained plastic will need to be sanded smooth then primed and painted. Just make sure the shop that does the work sands it right down! Or else it will flake or peel right off.

Yea thats what ill do then by any chance do you know how much it would cost to do this?

gonna be expensive to sand down all the texture. The steel bumper would be cheap, maybe $100 max, but the rest your looking at big $$ to have it done right.

 

GM sells a fog light kit upgrade for like $300 and it includes the painted endcaps/fogs switch wiring and everything. They also sell the LTZ painted grille for like $325.
