Silverado Nbs Doors Slam Loud

Kaptain

Question

Posted

I have an '07 Silverado NBS 1/2 ton.

When I close the two back doors the seem to slam shut loudly. Im not trying to slam them, I close both doors with the same effort as I do with the front. It's quite annoying. Is there anyway to stop this besides closing the door very slowly?

No wonder this forum is called "Ask The GM Technician". There are people on here who are assholes, just like my like one of the local deal. I feel right at home.

You probably got those responses because you posted this in the "ask gm tech" forum. This question isn't technical at all and could probably be answered by most people on here and the "slamming" is most likely normal.

Kaptain, you have a 2007 Silverado. Not a Rolls Royce. "Loud" slamming doors isn't really something to complain about. Unless it hurts your ears... :chevy:

its a truck man not a carbon fiber race car..the joys of the truck are the power, capability and the creaks and noises plus the awsome carbon footprint
