Hello all,

I tried a search, but couldn't find much... Could someone please direct me to a DIY water pump replacement write up?

I have a 1996 Yukon 4x4 with the 5.7.

Thanks in advance!

First off, welcome aboard.

Second, I do not know if there is a write up but it is pretty straightforward. Drain coolant, remove top part of radiator shroud (my 92 has 4 bolts, mid-way down), tackle the fan and coolant hoses, pull the water pump (4 bolts IIRC). It really is a pretty simple job, once you get started, R&R books out at 2 hours in a labor estimating guide.
