Leaking Oil At 23,000km

When I was installing my R/C 2" leveling kit this past weekend, I noticed oil on the bellhousing and skidplate. Hard to tell where it is coming from; I'm thinking rear seal. Obviously this will be covered by warranty, but still, what a pain in ass. Anyone else had this issue?

I just had mine fixed last week by the dealer,It looks like your leaks are in the same place as mine.

I thought it was the rear main seal as to me it looked like oil,but no expert turned out it was the torque converter seal.

Warranty covered no cost.

Dropped the truck off in the morning and ready early afternoon.

Who does your oil changes? Looks like oil from the filter that wasn't cleaned up after it was changed. Too brown in color to be transmission fluid.

Freakin nuts. I put my RC level kit on last week and noticed the same thing. Mine gets dropped off this morning to be repaired. Small world.

Clean it up real well under there and then watch it carefully the next couple days. That'll be a sure sign as to whether it's actually leaking or not.

Just got it back from the dealer today after dropping it off in the morning. Luckly it wasn't anything major- it was leaking from where the lines for the oil cooler enter the block.

My leak looks like is coming from the oil pan gasket right next to the block off plate. Unless it gets worse I'm not too worried about it.

I had an issue with my 08 6.2L. It was yanking on the dipstick had raised it out of the block hole (still in there, but not seated all the way). I managed to pump out 2 L of oil all over my garage floor and the undercarriage before I caught it.....

 

I loosened the bolt that holds the dipstick, made sure it was seated and tightened it down. All has been fine since.
