Transmission Fluid For 6l90

What is the recommended tranmission fluid for the 6l90 on the 6.0 motor? Also, are there any better synthetic fluids such as amsoil? I want to replace my fluid every 15K.

I believe DexVI is what your owner's manual calls for. Yes, there are synthetic approved DexVI's around (M1, Amsoil, etc.....)

 

Why in the world do you want to change the ATF so frequently especially if considering synthetic ATF?

I need this to last 240K in 6 years, with alott of steep grades on highway.
