Reverse Ticking/squeak

I have like a squeaking/ticking noise when I'm Driving in reverse. My thought is that I could have a bad u-joint. The only thing is, is that it only does it in reverse and not drive. I would think if it was a u joint it would do it either way. any thoughts?

Do you have discs or drums?

 

for drums, one of the shoes could be rubbing but you only hear it when you are going in reverse.

Discs, the Ebrake shoes could be rubbing and causing the sound.

 

For the ujoints, grab the shaft and see if it turns separate from the yokes.
