I was at the car wash today and my antenna mast snapped off taking the mounting stud with it. It looks like a bear to replace it, too.

I have a two part question, please:

What is the process for R and R'ing the antenna,

and

Can a power antenna be installed? I think not, since not even a Denali or Escalade has one.

I have found an on-line place that says they sell one that fits, though...

Thanks for all ya'lls help.

delete the antenna. pretty much relocating it under the hood. it looks sweet and you'll never loose an antenna to the car wash again.

There is no space for the power antenna motor assembly. I can't see how one would work there.

use a hidden antenna:

I'm using that antenna for my HD Radio tuner, instead of putting it on the windshield I stuffed it under the headliner (hint: take the screws out for the passenger side headliner to lower headliner a tad). You'll need a "reverse antenna adapter too", I found my best reception was after I sheilded the ground wire (not connected) completley with electrical tape.
