Is This Normal?

I know this is kinda a crappy pic, but I was just wondering if this is how the defroster contacts connect to the rear window or if I have a piece missing? It seems like some type of plastic cover would go over this area but there is nothing there. It is the same on both sides and my truck is new, just wondering if something is missing.

Yeah, it works. I just had a guy do my tint and looked back there and wanted to make sure nothing was missing.

Normal. FYI, you need to be careful when cleaning rear window from the inside because it s easy to damage if you hit it while wiping the glass clean. Don t ask me how I know

i actually just noticed that on my 2010 sierra yesterday and was going to post something about it. my look identical to yours as well. it does look out of place
