Pre-wired For Power Seats And Mirrors?

If I upgrade seats, are one or both sides pre-wired for power?

 

Also on the mirrors, are they pre-wired (at the door panel for a switch and at the mounting location) for power mirrors? What would it take to add the turn signal function from a later model truck?

You'll have to wire for the seats. The wiring is not there if it didn't originally come with power. Not sure on the mirrors but I know there are several different door harness options prior to 2005.

You'd expect it to be. The reason I had an answer is I have a buddy who has done conversions on GM trucks for about 25 years and I've seen them wiring for power seat swaps many times.

Oh well, the chances of me finding a nice set of black leather buckets with console are slim to none anyways. Good to know though.

Suburban / Tahoe seats will work in there. Opens up your options a bit.

I wonder if its the same story for the GMT900. I don't have to worry about Power Mirrors, but I'm Curious about the Power Seats.

Yeah, pretty much any '99-02 fullsize truck or '00-02 SUV should fit. Problem is people think they're gold
