2003 1500hd Sierra

I have an 03 1500hd and am not that impressed with the power. Most seemed to be very impressed with the power out of there 6.0 but mine is kind of disappointing. I understand there are different variations of 6.0, which one do I have? I have intake and plan to do exhaust and a tune, am I better off getting a different version of the 6.0? Really like the truck just wish it had more power. I apologize if this has been covered before, it probably has been.....I'm still a newbie.

a tune for these trucks is the best bang for the buck. Get one from a reputable person such as blackbear, westers, or nelsons. have them take 80% of the torque manegment out. Exhaust and intake you won't get much, changing the exhaust is is just for sound. AS for intake just change the filter to one of your prefence, the factory one flows really good. other things you can do are turbo or supercharge it, as for cams and different ratio rocker arms you will gain some. I'm sure other's will chime in with experiance
