Installed UPD intake.

The UPD http://www.ultimatepd.com/ is the only intake mod I've tried on the GMC. Throttle response is smoother and the engine revs a little quicker. Of course the intake is a little louder. The UPD came with a K&N filter. I also have an Amsoil filter. I ran the K&N for a couple of days, but the Amsoil filter is currently installed. I can tell no SOP difference between the two. I wish there was some definitive study available to help me choose between the two filters. I have seen arguments for one or the other, but they all seem to be "my dad can beat your dad" bashing. I just want the very best performance filter I can get period.

Maybe it's just a six of one and half dozen of another type thing. What do you guys think?

By the way, I haven't done the exhaust yet. Still studying that posibility. Looking hard at Corsa or maybe Gibson. Would like dual out the back, but do not want to loose low end torque.

There are so many possible intake and exhaust combinations out there that it is very very hard to decide which is the best setup. With these mods, I would like to have above all, best possible gas mileage, most improved performance and no loss of low end torque.
