Transfer Case Swap ? !

Hello again

Does anyone know if a transfer case from a 99 GMC jimmy (4x4) will fit a 99 silverado (4x4) ?

I'm waiting for the seller to give me the tag info from the transfer case and thought i could ask here in the mean time.

p.s I believe my transfer case to be a "246"
