Boot/ Half Shaft Replacement On Nbs

I have split outer cv boot. No boot replacement available here. Dealer says they don't have halfshafts, only the whole thing(?) so it will cost me $800 plus tax for a new one. Does anybody have a solution for me.

NAPA does not have anything for the NBS, or anybody else for that matter. At least up here.

Dorman has a universal CV boot, pn 614-003 that should fit your axle. You can check their website to confirm. I was part of a team that designed the boot at a previous job. Canadian Tire might still stock them or you can order them direct from www.dormanproducts.com. Cost should be less than $20 US.
