Time To Think About New Horns

Recommended Posts

I want to change out my horn/horns. Sounds like only one is working or if there's only one it's sick and tired. I want something fairly loud but not a semi style horn or anything that will break windows. Just want people to know I am there when they cross over the lines [and they do that a lot here in Texas].

How hard are they to get to & what type of horn did you replace yours with?

100 Watt Siren Speaker in the Grille. Tight fit but i managed to get it in there. Hahahaha

I feel like anything cheap is going to sound ridiculously corny tho

yeah, those air horns at places like autozone are really high pitched- had'em in my old truck and am not a fan personally.

Yessir....already voted them out long ago when I had classics in the driveway. I want a good horn that's loud enough to draw attention away from cell phones and rolling boomboxes.

Go to www.pmtdiesel.com and get you a train horn. A little pricey and definetely over kill, but you can get them as high as 153 db. Thats one way to get your point across.
