Well *cough*...There *cough* MAY BE a home-video floating around some of the seedier portions of the internet of SOMEBODY gettin' busy with a beautiful ginger-headed lady in the cab of an '89 Chevrolet Cheyenne with The Offspring playing in the background while the truck was sitting in a busy San Diego airport parking lot.

MAYBE.

Not that I would know anything about it though.

But it sure sounds like a pretty good time...You know...If something like that *cough* were to have happened....To...Uh...Me.

I have some similar memories in my truck... :happysad:

Best memory is kind of tough but my worst memory stands out like a sore thumb. Not proud of this, and it was in my buddy's truck not mine. We were out driving around, drinking beer, on a Friday night waiting to head over to a party that started later.

We were starting to feel pretty decent when my buddy decided it was time to lay down a burnout. Mind you, he has done "a few" with the '03 Z71, 4" suspension on 33's, and has prior to this night bombed a tranny.

Long story short lights one up, starts to get it going pretty good sitting there, then BOOOOOM! Sounded like the bed fell off the back. Grenaded the rear end. So here we are he is 20, I'm 21, I obviously bought the beer, and now were stuck. Police roam the back roads in this town very often, especially at night on weekends, so I expected jail time.

Buddy came with his dually, we pulled the drive shaft, and got it home. How we didn't get caught I have no clue.

mine would have to be when i got my first truck, i got stuck in snow up to my door handles(s-10) and grabbed the floor shifter and a few seconds later rolled out like it was nothing....worst memory is when i tapped a deer with my silvy :happysad:

Best and worst are all in one. Had me and a buddy and 4 girls (back when i was in highschool) in the truck which was a '01 Chevy z71 leveled with 33" federal mudders. They said something about going mud riding so I went out to a place called the 'Drop Zone' around my home town. The drop zone was a big area that the army used to use to practice dropping jeeps/cargo/supplies out of planes.

Well it had been raining for about 2 weeks straight and I wasn't my first time in the mud. I knew to keep steady pressure on it and don't do all the stuff "kids" usually like to do like fish tail it and goose it. Well I hit a bit of a snag when a tree was fallen across the road where I was driving. No problem I'm just gonna turn around... Well I get turned around by backing up a little then pulling off the road into a field. I felt a little spin so I goosed her to try and get it out. Poor decision. I sunk the ole chevy pretty good. You couldn't see my tires at all and I had 2" of mud on the inside of my truck. I called buddies to come pull me out. Another '01 Chevy had no luck because I was angled away from where they could pull me safely from. I called a buddy who had just gotten a brand new 2500 Dodge with the Cummins and was dying to try it out. So he came and finally got me out. 5 1/2 hours later, 4 tow hooks broken, and 1 chain broken.

Oh and I was also right beside a big red sign that said "No vehicles allowed off of the road"

Worst; Pulling into Canadian Tire to go look around (if you don't know what canadian tire is, it's like wal-mart for the handy-man. Sells everything except cloths and food. auto parts, electrical, etc) truck was running fine, as usual. So I didn't find anything I liked, so I went back outside to leave and go home. Turn the key...nothing. Dead. Thought the battery was dead, but I still had power to everything and the volt meter was reading 14v. Starter died, so I had to get Canadian Tire to repair it (they have automotive bays as well). $450, had to take out a credit card to pay for it.

Best memory? It started out as a bad memory. It was winter and I was going down a back road. I passed the road I wanted to turn on so I went to turn around. I thought the ditches were high, so I pulled into the ditch a bit but turns out the snow was just high up. My rear end slid in a bit, so I was kind of sideways in the ditch. I swore I was stuck for good, but I kept trying. Forward, reverse, wheel turning side to side. I was just about to give up and go down the road to a family friend and ask if he could pull me out but some how I managed to get out. I still don't know how my read end was burried in snow. The left side was all the way up to the window, the right was up to the fender. On the front the left side was up to the fender and about half way up the rim on the right side. Some how I managed to slide my rear end to the point where my front end got traction and I guess the front pulled everything out. I think.

It was just awesome because it made me feel like nothing would stop my suburban (except dead starters)

So far no real memories in my new Sierra, good or bad. I guess the first bad is sinking in mud, and needing to get towed out. Never had to get towed in the Burb, but first time I go offroading in the new truck I get stuck in the mud. At least it was another GMC that pulled me out, didn't have to swallow my pride and let a ford pull me out
