Looking For A Cheap Ipod Hookup ...

I have a 2008 NNBS GMC Sierra. Factory, non nav radio, with XM. I've done some searching, and have seen the Personal Audio Link (PAL) which runs about $110 and looks to be compatible with my truck. Just wanted to ask around, because all I am really interested in is hooking up my iPod to the radio and being able to use my steering wheel controls to hit the next track button. All I do is put my ipod on random. Wondering if anyone knows of a cheaper, effective way to get this done. Thanks

I put this in my 09 Silverado:

It was a bit more work to install then something like Scosche since it has to be plugged directly into the head unit (it bypasses the SAT radio which is a VERY good thing). That is actually cheaper then what I paid (around $100).

But it has worked like a dream in my truck.
