Roof Clearance Light Burnt Out On 09

I didn't realize they were LEDs, I guess I never thought about it. Well the passenger side one is not working, there's no bulb, right? I'd have to replace the whole thing?

 

I am assuming that is not a warranty item.

if it's under 36,000 miles, it will be under warranty! 3 year 36,000 bumper to bumper warranty

Its a non-repairable item as far as GM is concerned!

 

So if you have to fix on your dime contact http://www.ledfix.com

they may actually repair them. These guys repair blown LED

taillights and CHMSL units used in Cadillacs and other vehicles.

 

Note: If their web site does not specifically mention they fix

those clearance lights shoot them a e-mail and ask.

If you got the truck with those lights installed at the GM Factory sure as HELL it is a GM warranty item! 3 years/36,000 miles.

Again I forgot to be LITERAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

GM will replace them for free IF under the inital 3/36

new car warranty !

 

My initial posted response was for IF the truck was NOT still under

the 3/36....................
