What SHould I Do

This buddy of mine put his helmet on the hood of my truck -- I warned him not to do it.  Then he put his cell phone on my hood.  I got madder but kept my cool.  Then he put a container of oil in the bed of my truck and spilled it on the side of my truck on my paint and left rear fender flare.  I cussed him out and he said he would wash my truck.  Having done the entire Zaino process I told him I don't want him near my truck.  What else should I do to him or his possessions?

All responses are appreciated.  SOme people just don't get it.  That made me so mad he was lucky it took a while for me to see him.

Don't do anything-it's just a truck and not worth getting yourself in trouble over.

If he did it just to make you mad or damage your truck on purpose then he's not really your buddy and you oughta hang out with someone who respects your property.  Just my 2c worth... :P

Yeah, your right.  I guess I just needed to vent.  People not respecting other's stuff just makes me mad.  Oh well, none of us like him anyway.  :P

Well said Ron.

Just let him know how you feel about it, and tell him to watch what he's doing.  :)

Are you sure this guy's your buddy??? With buddies like that who needs enemies!!! I can tell you one thing, he wouldn't be MY buddy anymore! Life is just too short to put up with a**holes like that.

Most of my friends will not even touch my truck. Guess they think I am kinda fussy about it. I have offered a wash and wax as well as a couple of payment to a few people. They usually get the message.

I am the same way about my truck.  Although I hate saying stuff to people about sitting stuff on my hood, climbing all on the side of my bed, etc., I have learned that I would rather do that than suffer a dent or a scratch that will be there from now on.  If I had told the guy not to put his helmet and phone on my hood, I would have gave them a good toss across the field and see how much he likes me disrespecting his property.  I wouldn't retaliate after the fact, however.

I'd just make my feelings known regarding the truck to your friends and such in the future.  I know my buddies know how much effort I put into making mine look good.
