Trim Levels

So i have a 1997 GMC Yukon 4x4 2 door 5.7L V8. How can i tell what trim level it is?

in 97, GMC used the SL, SLE, and SLT trim designations much the same as they do today...

(in 97 Chevy Tahoe used LS, and LT for the two trim models above Base)

 

SL is pretty basic/plain

SLE is the first upgrade

SLT is the second upgrade

 

these letters should be on the exterior of the cab just behind the door ... at least they are on the pickups
