6.0 Vmax W/o Exhaust Resonator

Hello everyone. I just bought a 2009 ECSB Vortec Max 4x4 with the 6.0 engine. The previous owner removed the muffler and resonator, and added dual tail pipes. It looks nice but it's way too loud for me. I would like to quiet it down but keep the new tail pipes. He gave me the stock muffler. How will it sound with the stock muffler, no resonator, and dual tail pipes? I've heard it's great with the new 6.2, but haven't heard about the 6.0. Thanks in advance!

I have a 07 v-max and installed a gm performance exhaust with dual oulets (not true duals) i drove it for about a year like that and finally got tired of the drone at around 60mph cruising speed and certain rpms. Since this system used clamps i took the part that turns into duals off (outlet muffler side) and put my resonator on with the factory pipe going out the back, man what a difference no drone at all and it feels like it has a little more response and power especially lower rpm, more backpressure maybe. As far as the stock exhaust goes without the resonator i havent heard but i do feel the stock muffler and resonator is too quiet which isnt that bad. Go for it.
